Teaching kids to make healthier lifestyle choices for themselves and, by extension, their families; while focusing on the common denominator of food to bridge cultural, social and economic divides among young people.

I think there is always room for improvement.


My Food Philosophy: Get over it, just try it again.
Culinary Goals: get better at measuring by eye so I don't always have to use a measuring cup..
Culinary accomplishment I'm most proud of: finishing the junior chef
program, being invited to participate in events like instructing at the 2010 Kids Culinary Convention.

Words of advice to aspiring Jr. Chefs: Have fun cooking, make the things
that you like to eat, and if it doesn't workout the first time don't give up hope, just be patient, you'll get it.
