Today I made a really good meal. I had lots of fun making it, I was mostly frustrated with all of the chopping that I did by myself. Which took awhile. One challenge that I had was I forgot to read the whole recipe through. So I ended up cooking the chicken all the way through on the first step. I thought it would be overcooked, but it actually turned out great. The egg noodles were the easiest part of the whole meal. Just like cooking pasta. I didn’t have time to make the Fruit in Mint Syrup. But it sounds tasty. I will cook it on Wednesday.
The fish was delicious I picked a different fish I choose a mai mai tuna and salmon. I might have liked it better if it were just the onions and so olives. But other than that it was delicious. I didn’t like the couscous with it, we had the Tabbouleh instead.  We also had the coco chocolate chip cookies.
The Rigatoni was so good. I would say that it’s my favorite dish. The Bechamel sauce was really good with the Rigatoni. I was kind of concerned about putting the prosciutto in the sauce. It all turned out good. When the pasta came out of the oven, it was so creamy inside and cheesy.
The Winter White Salad I didn’t like at all. Just the whole salad being white and all. The Chicken was really good with the tomatoes but I didn’t like it with the feta sauce. I might put less feta in. So the lemon tart didn’t really turn out because the filling would not cook all the way through. It was still liquid when I took it out of the oven. So we ended up throwing the filling away and the pie away.
I thought the Mint and Apple Granita was really good. It had a sweet taste to it and it turned out very nice. Something to keep in mind for the summer!! I didn’t like the Black Eyed Peas salad because I don’t like black eyed peas and the Chile made it real spicy. The Empanadas were OK but not my favorite I think it was the crust didn’t really have ant flavor and so thats what made me not like it. Although the stuffing stuff was good.
I didn’t like the burgers because the lamb wasn’t good in burgers. I personally would use ground beef because it cooks nice and tastes better. The Tabbouleh was very good it had a nice citrus taste and the grain was good. I didn’t like the Coconut Pudding because of the texture and the taste.
I loved this dish. The chicken might have been to spicy for me. The breadcrumbs helped to make to outside of the chicken crunchy. I didn’t so much like the apples with the potatoes, but I actually used really potatoes instead of sweet potatoes. I still tasted good. The pound cake was the best to me. I messed  up on the frosting first but then I got it right.
The Stuffed Baked Apples were OK but the inside was good. The Chicken Pot Pie was real confusing. My food processor would not do all the dough and the top of it started to get really hot so I had to do it piece by piece. The dough was really big and I had a hard time putting the filling in. The filling was so good I spent the night eating that stuff and didn’t have any room for the pie. The pie was good though. I really liked the pearl onions.
This recipe was really good i thought. I liked the Asian taste to it if it had one. For the shrimp sense I don’t like it my got so Mahi Mahi so that I could enjoy to. The orange spicy salad was a bit to spicy, but it was good if you rubbed it on the noodle. I used angel hair pasta rather then the other kind. The Pina Colada Cups were good I’m not a big orange fan, but they were alright.
