Teaching kids to make healthier lifestyle choices for themselves and, by extension, their families; while focusing on the common denominator of food to bridge cultural, social and economic divides among young people.

What I know now that I didn't know before becoming a Jr. Chef: Even though I started when I was 11, learning knife skills at the young age and now I could be good at it without hurting myself.

The Jr. Chef program benefited me most by: Teaching me a life skill.  Cooking is something I will always need in my life.  I have also found that I enjoy cooking and may want to pursue that as a career.

Words of advice to aspiring Jr. Chefs: Try experimenting, it may not always turn out right but you may find something unique and wonderful in the process.
Culinary Goals: I hoping to maybe go to culinary school someday and perhaps own my own restaurant.
Skills Mastered: Knife Skills, braising.

Culinary accomplishment I'm most proud of: Being an impartial judge at the 2009 Kids Culinary Convention

Dish I'm Best Known For: Lentil dishes, many people do not like them and I like to experiment to make them taste good.

Country I'd like eat my way across: Italy
