Teaching kids to make healthier lifestyle choices for themselves and, by extension, their families; while focusing on the common denominator of food to bridge cultural, social and economic divides among young people.
Each of these young men and women are self-motivated, have taken responsibility for their culinary accomplishments, and are willing to share their knowledge and expertise with other young people. They participate in live cooking demos on TV and at special events, post pictures of their culinary creations and comments on our blog page; serve as interns in cooking classes, and help teach other young people basic cooking principles.

Culinary professionals from around the globe are expressing a desire to share their passion for plates and palates with a new generation. These are the people who are selected to work with participants in the Jr. Chef Elite program. Their lives are also incredibly busy, yet they’re willing to invest their own time and considerable talents to pass on their knowledge. For all of them, working with Jr. Chefs is a welcome component to their professional careers.
